Design is evolving and it is constantly changing. It was quite a challenge when there is a lot of great diversity of devices that were supporting web browsing. Afterwards, the designer had to map the design made for desktop screens to mobile screens. When it comes to mobile responsive design there is a challenge in showing the navigation items. To solve this particular problem a menu item is kept to represent the whole menu item and it will hide the navigation items when pressed or clicked this will hide or unhide the items or available actions inside it. There is a variety of items that are used according to their use cases. It seem that I was interacting with the menu item’s icon without knowing it properly or knowing its name.

After searching on the web, I found a lot of interesting menu items and the various names given to them. In addition, I came to know that all the menu items are named after food items and here are the few menu items inspired by the foods that we use in UI design which you can use in your project, this time knowing their names 😁.
