Seven Samurai is one of the finest movie of Akira Kurosawa. One of the classic movies released in 1954, this was co-written, edited, and directed by Kurosawa. The story starts with bandits is planning to loot the village after the harvest so the poor villagers have to defend. So they planned to hire samurai to protect them. This is how film grew on and on.
I didn’t think the movie will be so engaging. Perfect shots , blocking, lighting and sounds combine to give a unique Kurosawa taste.
